Shanghai Jiangnan Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “JNADI”) is a stock-holding liability limited company reformed from the original Shanghai Jiading Architectural Design Institute (a public institution). Since 1993, it has been a comprehensive architectural design unit with national class-A design qualification. At present, it also possesses national class-A survey qualification, municipal class-B (bridge and garden landscape) design qualification, class-B urban and rural qualification and class-A construction drawing inspection qualification. It has more than 250 various technicians, including 10 national class-A certified architects, 19 class-A certified structural engineers, 5 certified urban planers, 60 senior engineers and more than 68 engineers.
Since being reformed as a private enterprise in 2002, it has seized all kinds of construction opportunities and made excellent achievements: the number of employees has been increased to 250 from 100; the production value of design cost has increased to more than RMB 85 million form RMB 20 million. JNADI has developed into a company with comprehensive qualifications instead of the sole design qualification and there are four branches in Chengdu, Changsha, Suzhou and Chongming. In resent two years, it has overcome the influence of international financial crisis on building industry and made excellent achievements:
1, JNADI attaches more importance to corporate culture construction and puts forwards a slogan of “develop with JNADI together”. Activity of “emphasize on devotion spirit and cultivate “four possessions” talents” is held within the company., It was selected as “Shanghai Advanced Model Collectivity” In 2004, “Shanghai Civilization Unit” from 2003 to 2008 and “Advanced Private Enterprise” from 2003 to 2009. In 2008, various taxations were up to more than RMB 6.8 million.
2. Activity of “Strict Management to Build First-class Team, Erect Brand Image and Create Excellent Works” is developed in design work. Since 2004, corporate management system has been developed according to overall quality management requirements and the certification of ISO9001 Quality Management System has been passed. From 2004 to 2009, the pass rate of each project was 100%. Every year, there were municipal excellent works, including Jiading People’s Government Building, Elyse Garden, Goldfield Green Spring, Goldfield Green World, Poly Garden, Poly May Flower on the Sea, Poly Leaf Shanghai, Longfor Blossom Chianti, Jindi Urban City Costal Park, Jiabao City Harbor, Jiaxian Villa District as well as Jiaxing Maolv Hotel and Zhengzhou Xingya Hotel in Henan. Goldfield Green World is the completed largest single building in Shanghai; Poly Leaf Shanghai is the largest residential building in Shanghai. In addition, it has successfully completed the restoration project of Minhang Qibao Street, restoration engineering of Jiaxing Yuhe Historic Street, Expansion engineering of Suzhou West Park, Jiading Zhouqiao Street, etc. The company has established strategic cooperative relationships with Goldfield, Poly, Greenfield, etc. In 2008, it was selected as the 28th of “Top 100 of National Survey and Design Enterprise and Civil Building” by China Building Industry Association; it has designed the most residences in Shanghai.
3. The company also pays attention to its own social responsibility and initiatively makes contributions. Besides being law-abiding and paying about 6 million yuan taxation each year, it also organizes employees to help to plan and design in impoverished areas in Yunnan, Anhui, Jiangxi with no/a few charge. The company and employees are initiatively attending voluntary blood donation and disaster relief donation activities, developing co-creation of spiritual civilization with village, street and neighborhood committee. In addition, they also develop pair work activities to concern and finance the family of a martyred soldier, retired cadres and poor students; more than RMB10, 000 has been donated in two years.
